Senior Google Ads Manager
This is an in-office position only.
We are seeking a Google Ads expert to help us make better business decisions based on our marketing data. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Google Ads and Google Analytics.
Your primary responsibilities will be maintaining the Google Ad accounts of our company and analyzing the results to identify patterns and trends that can help us improve the efficiency and usability of our products and services. You will also be expected to improve our Google Ads accounts and maximize the return on our investment.
Responsibilities
Below are some of the responsibilities a Google Ads expert is expected to assume in their position:
Manage all aspects of Google Ad campaigns
Create and optimize ad campaigns and paid search landing pages
Analyze and optimize ad campaigns to increase return on investment (ROI)
Use Google Ads to drive a variety of online marketing campaigns
Analyze and optimize pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns to increase ROI
Manage and optimize display campaigns across multiple devices
Develop PPC strategies to increase online visibility
Collaborate with a team of marketers, Google Ads specialists, and engineers
Job Qualifications and Skill Sets
- Day-to-day management of paid social advertising campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc.
- Play a lead role in client communication, while also helping to spearhead strategy and campaign initiatives.
- Track and report on campaign results, data analysis, contribute to weekly/monthly client status calls with regular reporting on results.
- Close collaboration with our internal team to assess and improve advertising performance.
- Constant learning to improve your understanding of the paid marketing landscape.
Requirements:
- You’re an expert in Google Ads, having directly managed large-budget campaigns with results to show.
- Must have strong eCommerce experience, with a thorough understanding of the Shopify platform.
- You know exactly what to do to improve results in an account.
- You’re enamoured by the industry and at the top of your game while continually improving your knowledge by diving deep into industry blogs and more importantly via experience.
- Knowing that CRO is just as important as your campaigns, you are well-versed in post-click conversion and what it takes to convert traffic at a high rate.
- Always willing to speak up, collaborate, and advocate for your ideas.
- You’re a conceptual thinker, someone able to create a range of ideas and strategies for campaigns along with having total confidence in your execution and communication with clients.
- A degree in digital marketing or a related business field
- In-depth knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising (formerly Bing Ads), and Google Analytics
- An understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM)
- Google Ads certification
- Competency with using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to produce reports and presentations for clients
